◆New Zealand & Japan◆
Customs in New Zealand
☆ People in New Zealand go to bed early and get up early. The average of worker’s bedtime is 10:30 p.m. Moreover the average of children’s bedtime is 6:30 p.m. They are so early. In Japan, however, some interesting TV programs are broadcast at that time and people are enjoying their own evening life.
☆ How to wash dishes in New Zealand is different in Japan. First, they save hot water in sink, put cleaner in it and froth it. Next, they put dishes in sink and wash them. Surprisingly, people don’t rinse the dishes, and wipe only them.
☆ How to spend Christmas in New Zealand is different in Japan. They spend times with their family and relations in Christmas. If they had a boyfriend or girlfriend, they would stay home and enjoy with their family and relations. It seems as if the New Year in Japan. Moreover their meal is special on the day. They drink champagne since morning, have a BBQ in lunch and eat real Christmas dinner. Not only children but also adults enjoy Christmas. They exchange presents too.
